The Chair is the leaders of all-things-West-YP. They meet with the Chamber lead monthly to plan the monthly agenda and ensure all teams have the support they need to thrive and make West YP the incredible program it is. The Chair keeps the team engaged, connected to the mission and best practices, and actively looks for ways to elevate the experience for both the committee and all members. The Chair also welcomes members to all events and leads the monthly team meetings. The Chair may be included in sub-committee meetings as needed.Â
The Vice Chair leads a lot of the accountability for the team by taking notes on and sharing a list of action items after the monthly team meetings. The Vice Chair often supports any special projects, ensures the committee has quarterly team outings, and helps plan the bi-annual retreats. They also oversee the recruitment efforts for committee roles ahead of the Annual Fall Planning Retreat so new leaders are able to join for that before beginning in January.Â
The Past Chair serves in an advisory-based role, assisting the Chair and Vice-Chair (Exec Team) as needed. The Past Chair often supports any special projects, ensures the committee has quarterly team outings, and helps plan the bi-annual retreats.
