WDM Emerging Leader

Design has always been a passion of mine. Working in a floral shop allowed me to further develop my creativity and eye for design, teaching me how color, texture, and arrangements come together to create visually impactful experiences. Through that experience, I realized how much I enjoyed creating spaces and displays that people connect with, which inspired me to pursue a career in the design field. Today, I am fortunate to work for a design company where I can combine my creativity, attention to detail, and passion for creating meaningful visual experiences.

My favorite part of my job is creating beautiful environments that enhance a space and leave a lasting impression. I enjoy the creative process of bringing a vision to life and seeing how thoughtful design can transform an environment. I also love that every day is different, with new projects, challenges, and opportunities to think creatively and learn something new.

One of my greatest professional accomplishments has been successfully transitioning into a new industry and expanding my expertise in plant care, holiday design, and seasonal color rotations. Over the past year, I have taken on a key role in creating and managing designs that help bring our clients’ spaces to life throughout the changing seasons. This experience challenged me to quickly learn new skills, adapt to industry-specific knowledge, and balance creativity with business objectives.  Through dedication, continuous learning, and a passion for design, I helped contribute to a successful holiday season at Verdure Elements / Wright Outdoor Solutions, generating over $1 million in sales in 2025 and building momentum for an even bigger season ahead. I am especially proud of this accomplishment because it reflects not only the growth of our business but also my own professional development and ability to create impactful, client-focused design solutions.

One habit that helps keep me on track is starting each day by prioritizing my most important tasks. Creating a clear plan allows me to stay organized, manage multiple projects effectively, and ensure deadlines are met while still maintaining attention to detail and creativity in my work.

Don’t be afraid to say yes to opportunities that help you grow, even if they’re outside your comfort zone. Some of the most valuable experiences come from taking on new challenges, asking questions, and learning from the people around you. Every project, relationship, and experience can teach you something that helps shape your career.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with friends, family, antiquing, and exploring my passion for design. Whether I’m hunting for vintage treasures or working on a creative project, I love finding inspiration in everyday spaces and bringing new ideas to life.

Traveling the world is at the top of my bucket list. I would love the opportunity to explore new places, experience different cultures, and gain inspiration from the unique beauty and design of each destination.

My aspiration is to continue growing as a designer and expanding my knowledge of creating beautiful, functional environments. I hope to take on increasingly complex projects, develop my creative and technical skills, and make a lasting impact through thoughtful design. Long-term, I would love to help shape spaces that inspire people, enhance their experiences, and reflect a strong sense of creativity and purpose. I am excited to keep learning, exploring new design trends, and finding opportunities to grow within the industry.

Around the community, you’ll most likely find me at a West YP event, spending time with friends, or browsing antique stores in search of unique finds. I also enjoy exploring local businesses, attending community events, and finding design inspiration wherever I go. I love being involved, meeting new people, and discovering the hidden gems that make our community such a great place to live and work.
