Coe College for my Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business with a minor in Religion, and the University of Iowa for my Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning.

City of West Des Moines as an Associate Planner. My role is to help residents, developers or anyone growing the city with interpreting city code and helping them with the development process.

I love that I am able to help people and make working with the city to get permits or approvals a little less of a daunting process.

The only way to begin is by beginning. 

I love to check out new restaurants around the metro! I keep a running list of places to try and am always open for suggestions.

I really enjoy the ability to learn from local experts about how to navigate difficult topics, and doing it alongside members who may be in different fields, but experience similar challenges in their careers.

You can find me at a farmers market or at one of the many local concerts any weekend.
