Jethro’s Bacon Bacon in WDM serves breakfast all day long and features thick cut Bacon. Jethro’s Jambalaya in Waukee features Cajun, Jethro’s n’ Jakes in Altoona features Steaks, Jethro’s Lakehouse in Ankeny features Seafood, Jethro’s Porkchop Grill in Johnston features the State Fair Pork Chop.
Jethro’s BBQ n’ Bacon Bacon is the only Jethro’s location that serves breakfast all day long. It was important to build it in a central location. This meeting spot can be reached in 15 minutes from anywhere in the Metro. The easy access from the 22nd Street exit off I-235 makes it really convenient.
Jethro’s BBQ has the “Best Happy Hour in Town” with half-price craft beers, domestics, cocktails and food appetizer specials. Sunday thru Friday 3pm-6pm. Jethro’s has a party room that can seat up to 100 for private events. Jethro’s has a full catering staff and has fed as many at 5,000 people in a day. Jethro’s BBQ even catered President Obama’s Backyard BBQ here in Des Moines. We take pride in our professional service and food presentation.Â

We love our location on 22nd Street, so close to West Des Moines Valley High School and Dowling Catholic High School. We support both schools in all of their activities. Jethro’s BBQ’s wings were recently named the “Best Wings in Iowa” and have been voted the best in Des Moines for 15 consecutive years. Tuesday’s are two- for-one wing special and Thursday’s are half-price boneless wings. Jethro’s is now taking reservations for groups of 8 or more. We open at 8 a.m. on weekends serving our huge breakfast menu. Our 100-seat private dining room is ready to book your next event or party. Our Catering department is ready to serve your next tailgate party or order online to pick up food to go for your own backyard BBQ.
