Nobody really does it. Globally, only 1% of users post once a week. I wanted to stand out, and help people know who I am before they meet me in real life. After 3-6 months of consistent posting, it starting to gain traction, and people across the state started to approach me saying they knew me from LinkedIn.
Give more than you get. Don’t see people as a means to an end, but let the relationship be end in and of itself. Adopt this mindset — you can learn something from every person you meet, and you also have something you can teach them. Every relationship has unlimited upside, so don’t burn bridges. Too often, people make short-term decisions that have negative long-term consequences. Focus on the long-term when building your network.
