From learning how to establish good credit at a young age and doing your taxes, to finding budget-friendly yet tasty recipes for meal prep, the SLC will provide you insightful tips from West Des Moines experts who wish they had a program like this at your age.

In addition, as a member of the program, you will have the opportunity to gain leadership experience by helping plan a state-wide visit day to West Des Moines for college students. Talk about a resume builder! You will have plenty of opportunities to network with peers and business leaders throughout this program. The Student Leadership Council offers you the “adulting” pro-tips and hands-on leadership experience you don’t always get in the classroom.
