Hi, I’m Ty Braga, but most people around town just know me as Ty the IT Guy. I’m the Account Manager at Combined Systems Technology, CST. I was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, but I traded ocean views for cornfields when I moved to Iowa in 2019, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I fell in love with the people, the kindness, and the sense of community. Sure, the winters almost convinced me my face could freeze off, but you can’t truly appreciate a glorious Iowa summer without surviving a winter, right? Now I proudly call Iowa home, raising my family and helping local businesses thrive with reliable, secure IT solutions.
CST has been Iowa’s IT leader since 1980 and is a locally family-owned business. Our owner, Ryan Parker, recently took the reins, bringing a renewed energy and a commitment to putting clients before profits. Ryan believes that if you take care of your clients, they will take care of your business, and that philosophy is at the heart of everything we do. CST serves clients ranging from the City of West Des Moines to the Iowa State Fair for over 20 years, as well as the small businesses that keep our communities vibrant, from your local dentist to your neighborhood interior designer. Whether you’re a one-person shop or a large corporation, we believe IT support should never be one-size-fits-all. Every client has unique challenges, and we take care of your IT so you can take care of your business. After all, no one enjoys fighting with the pesky office printer when you’re on a deadline, and whether it’s that or a major IT overhaul, we do it all.

I wanted to build relationships in a place where businesses care about their neighbors and celebrate each other’s success.
